The Eucharistic Congress bell was on display in the school library until 11 15 am. It was then carried to the College Chapel where Rev. S. Joyce, college chaplain, explained its significence to the assembled first year students and conducted a short prayer service.
As part of their Junior Certificate course the students in Rang Tiarnach visited the College Chapel.
Fr. S. Joyce explained the layout of the church and students engaged in a question and answer session on the traditions surrounding the sacraments and religious practice and worship


Rang Diarmaid,2009, with their teacher Ms. D. Brady visited the Franciscan Friary in Multyfarnham. There, they met Fr.
Walsh, who was extremely helpful in displaying his expression of Christian faith through art and sculpture.
