September Golf Results

On the 6th of September, the St. Macartan’s Golf Team played in the Ulster Schools Matchplay Qualifiers. The qualifiers were held in ShandonPark, Belfast. The top 4 scores in the competition were:
Daragh Meehan – 27 Points
Christopher Brennan – 22 Points
Ciarán Lavery – 23 Points
Dylan McMahon – 21 Points.
This gave the team a total of 98 points. The qualifying score was 103 points so the team narrowly missed out of qualifying.
On the 24th of September, the ‘Sem’ team took part in the Ulster League in Warrenpoint,
On the 15th of September, the team took part in the Ulster Schools Strokeplay finals in Lisburn Golf Club. The team finished 5th overall, it was a disappointing performance by those involved.
