All Ireland Handball Winners 2010
Padraig Mc Kenna won the All Ireland Junior Handball championship in Roscommon on Saturday, 7th. February.
Christopher Mc Kenna and Terry Mc Elvaney won the All Ireland Colleges Doubles Championship.
The team manager is Mr. M. Todd.
This is a great tribute to the skill and committment of all concerned. It is the first All Ireland Handball title for St. Macartan's since 1971.
Ulster Colleges Finals 2009
Students from St. Macartan's had a successful outing to Kingscourt for the colleges finals in January, winning four competitions outright. They go on to represent the province in February.
Darren Doherty easily won the First Year Singles competition. In Doubles, Darren Byrne and Mantas Rudantovas were runners up.
At Junior Level Padraig won the Singles title.
At Intermediate Level Terry Mc Elvaney and Christopher Mc Kenna were successful.
At Senior Level Niall Clerkin and Eoin Mc Kenna won the Doubles title beating teams from St. Coleman's College, Omagh, and D.B.M. Carrickmore.
