St Macartan's Day
The Feast Day of St. Macartan falls on 24th. March. It is an important day in the life of our school and this year it was marked by Mass in the Sports Hall and tree plantings by each of the First Year classes.
The Mass was concelebrated by Bishop Duffy and Fr. Harkin.
The Junior Choir, accompanied by Ms. C. Mulhern and a group of musicians provided the music.
First Year Tree Planting
The First Year classes, accompanied by Ms. M. Smith: Year Head, planted native, deciduous trees to mark St. Macartan's Day 2008.
The Tree Planting Ceremony was performed by Fr. D. Harkin who blessed the trees and all those who participated.
