Musical auditions for TY musical
On the 11th of September the auditions for the fourth year musical started for the Brooklyn set musical West Side Story! With over 80 auditions, the producer Lynn Jackson and the director Eileen Tackney had their hands full! The story is about two rival gangs the Jets and the Sharks. The students were required to do a singing audition and then did some dancing and acting from the opening scene with Lynn Jackson. The students who showed promise were called back and many of the hopefuls were auditioned again! The judges ended up setting a new call back date on the 15th of September. Students anxiously await the casting.
